For restoration we use prosthetic restorations. They can be permanent (permanently fixed on live teeth with special cement), removable (which can be removed from the oral cavity by a patient) and combined dentures (a very convenient therapy where both stable and removable fillings are used).

Removable prosthetic restorations are: acrylic dentures, frame dentures, nylon and acetal dentures and permanent restorations are: ceramic fillings – crowns and bridges.
